How the Horse Moves
This day will look at How the Horse Moves from an anatomical perspective. The course will look at basic anatomy and biomechanics, how the horse moves on the flat and over jumps and will conclude with a demonstration of a range of massage and stretching techniques, officers and riders can use to benefit their own horses. The course is of interest to all levels of riders and trainers wishing to improve their performance and reduce the risk of injury. It provides a rare and interesting opportunity to train with the mounted police.
