Opportunities with Horses Inside Out

Business Support Administrator

As Horses Inside Out continues to grow we are looking for someone to join us on our exciting journey and help with administration, large event organisation, sales, promotion and customer support.

 

Applicants would need to be friendly and happy to chat to customers, organised, diligent, reliable and innovative, confident with computers and familiar with or happy to learn wix.

 

Applicants would ideally be well connected and experienced in the equestrian world, have had some experience in sales, marketing and /or large event organisation and running trade stands. 

 

We would love it if the applicant already knows and loves the work of Horses Inside Out.

Summary

  • 20 hours a week

  • Flexible times and hours to suit us all.

  • Working from our base in Old Dalby, Leicestershire with opportunity for remote work once established. 

    • 10am - 3pm two or three times a week at HIO HQ

    • 1-2 hours a day from home 

  • Opportunity for education in equine anatomy and biomechanics.

  • Opportunity to access HIO products and content.

  • Opportunity to attend educational events, courses, conferences and networking events.

  • Potential opportunity to travel.

  • Any necessary training will be provided 

  • Job could be split for 2 people depending on skillset

Job would include:-

  • Customer support

  • Responding to email and website chat queries 

  • Help with event and conference organisation

  • Event sales, management and marketing 

  • Contact and member management

  • Assist with website management

  • Help running trade stand at large shows and events

  • Help running large events set up/ break down

  • Promotion and sales of existing and new products 

  • Administration

  • Business marketing, development and growth

  • Ad hoc tasks as they arise

Fabulous student internship opportunity 

We are pleased to be offering an exciting internship opportunity for the right student starting in summer 2025.

 

Applicants would need to be friendly,  happy, enthusiastic and confident, keen contribute to and learn about business, media, events and marketing. Hard work and commitment will be rewarded with opportunities.

  • Minimum 3 months 

  • Flexible times and hours to suit us all.

  • Hybrid - working from our HQ in Old Dalby, Leicestershire with opportunity for some remote projects

  • Mostly office type work although depending on length of internship event management and there will be a small amount of practical /hands on work with horses depending on your experience and time of year

  • Opportunity for education in equine anatomy and biomechanics.

  • Opportunity to access HIO products and content.

  • Opportunity to learn about organisation of and help run educational events, courses, conferences and networking events.

  • Opportunity to experience and learn advanced social media and marketing, business analysis, management and development,  CRM, project development, integrating AI into business and event management and hosting skills amongst other things

  • Potential opportunity to travel (dependant on length of internship).

  • Potential opportunity to bring own horse or stable locally.
