Growth and development is the focus for our 2024 horse conference. Understand more about horses from birth to old age. There is something for everyone. Over the two days you will be treated to a packed programme of inspiring and educational lectures from world leading presenters sharing the latest scientific information on:

Virtual Attendance
Watch from the comfort of your own home. The conference will be live-streamed to our online audience via Zoom.
Tony Hobden will be your dedicated online host who will be there throughout the two days to ensure you get the most from this experience.
Before the conference, you will be sent the delegate pack which includes the program and lecture notes and instructions on how to join the live event.
On the day, we will open the live streaming 30-minutes before the conference starts to give you plenty of time to log on and join in the chat with your online host and other virtual attendees.
At the end of each lecture there will be the opportunity to ask questions using the zoom Q&A feature.
During breaks join Tony for exclusive interviews with the speakers and exhibitors so you feel you are there with us!
Join in the discussion with the panel session at the end of the day using the zoom chat and Q&A with the help of your online host.

Horse Conference Exhibitions


Anatomy Exhibition
Study a variety of skeletons, bones, anatomical specimens, models, resources and drawings on display in our comprehensive anatomy exhibition.
With Growth and Development as the theme of this conference, this anatomy exhibition will include a range of examples of immature bones and skeletons with active and ossified growth plates as well as examples of congenital abnormalities often seen in the young horse.
We are also pleased that Mark Johnson will be presenting a variety of lower limb specimens and discussing the anatomy.
Scientific Poster Area
There will be a variety of scientific posters on-display relating to the theme growth and development. During the breaks the authors will be available by their posters to discuss their ideas, research and reviews.
There will be a competition for the best poster which will be judged by Professor Meriel Moore-Colyer.
Posters can be submitted by anyone, students or professionals. Submission deadline: 1st December.
